My entry for Indie Speedrun 2013— a simple puzzle game. The theme and element assigned to me were “savings” and “dice”; not particularly wanting to make a gambling-themed game, this was the only thing I could think of. Although the gameplay isn’t as interesting as it could be, I tried to compensate with propulsive music and colorful visuals. It got 4.5 out of 5 stars in the user voting (inexplicably, if you ask me).
Created in 48 hours using C++/D3D11. Requires Windows 7 or later. (Should work on Vista too, but I haven’t tried.)
- The patterns on the dice determine which tiles they remove.
- Remove as many dice as possible, but try to preserve the money and diamonds. Each die you remove gets you 1-6 points. Each valuable you remove costs you 1-50 points.
- You have 6 rounds. When you feel like you can’t get any more points this round, hit SPACE to go to the next one.
- Each second, you lose a point. Be FAST…
